How we work

What to expect from enquiry to handover: how quotations are structured, what we need from you, and how work is inspected and handed over.

Ways to buy

Three types of order

Every quotation states which type applies, and only the services ticked in the quotation are included.

01

Supply only

The mast and components are made available for collection. No delivery, offloading or site work.

02

Supply and delivery

As above, delivered to your site or delivery address. Offloading only if stated.

03

Supply and installation

Supplied, delivered and erected on site to the approved drawings, through to practical completion.

From enquiry to handover

Six stages

  1. Enquiry and design inputs

You share the site, mast and equipment details.

  2. Quotation

A schedule shows what is included. Anything not ticked is excluded.

  3. Acceptance

Signed schedule, purchase order, email or first payment.

  4. Start date

First payment received and drawings approved in writing.

  5. Delivery and installation

    Site readiness confirmed, then mobilisation.

  6. Practical completion

Joint inspection, certificate and snag list.

Design inputs

What we need before design starts

Masts are designed around their loads and their site. These inputs, in writing, let us quote accurately and design correctly. Mark anything you don't know yet and we will state our assumptions.

Guide: preparing for a mast quotation

  1. Mast type, height and quantity
  2. Site location (address and GPS), terrain and known wind exposure
  3. Wind-loading criteria or the design standard required
  4. Every antenna, sensor, cable, light or platform to be mounted, and future allowances
  5. Any ice, seismic or other special loads
  6. Soil and geotechnical information, and who designs and builds the foundations
  7. Intended use and expected service life
  8. Requirements of any authority, landowner, insurer or lender
  9. Access constraints and delivery restrictions
  10. Known hazards, buried or overhead services and existing structures

Site readiness

Before our team mobilises

For supply-and-installation orders, you confirm in writing that the site is ready. We may inspect first, and we will not start on a site that is unsafe or not ready.

  • Safe, lawful access for people, vehicles and cranes, with landowner consent
  • Working and laydown areas cleared, level and firm
  • Foundations and anchors complete and cured (if built by others)
  • Buried and overhead services identified and marked
  • Power, water and sanitation where the quotation says so
  • Site security arranged
  • Required approvals obtained

Practical completion

Inspection and handover

Practical completion is reached when the mast is erected to the approved drawings and is safe and ready for use, apart from minor snag items that do not affect safe use.

We notify you in writing and offer a joint inspection. You then sign a practical completion certificate or give us a written list of items to resolve. Every installation is handed over with a completion report covering:

  • Foundations cast to the approved design and cured before loading
  • Mast erected in the manufacturer's assembly sequence
  • Verticality and base level verified
  • All structural bolts torqued and marked
  • Galvanised finish inspected for damage
  • Earthing conductors and electrodes installed
  • Cabinet mounted level, secured and lockable
  • Keys and records handed to the client
  • Site cleared and construction waste removed
  • Client walkthrough and practical completion sign-off
  • Snag list recorded, even if nil

Clear exclusions

Included only if listed

To keep quotations comparable, the following are included only when the quotation lists them:

  • Drawings, calculations and certificates
  • Foundation design
  • Geotechnical assessment
  • Lifting plans and temporary works design
  • Regulatory submissions
  • Installing, connecting or aligning your own equipment
