About Tyltar

A South African infrastructure specialist, headquartered in Midrand, building and maintaining the infrastructure behind renewable energy, telecommunications and power transmission.

Who we are

Infrastructure specialists for Southern Africa

Tyltar (Pty) Ltd was established in 2015. We are headquartered in Midrand, Gauteng, and work across the SADC region.

We build and maintain the physical infrastructure that energy and communications projects depend on: meteorological masts and their instruments, towers and masts for communications networks, microwave, RF and fibre installations, and the civil and structural works around them.

We have supported independent power producers, telecommunications operators and national utilities, on sites ranging from remote rural landscapes to industrial and urban environments.

Our teams include qualified technicians and engineers, equipped with vehicles, tools, climbing gear and rescue kits for work at height on remote sites.

How we deliver

Five habits on every job

Turnkey delivery, from site preparation and foundations to installation, testing and handover, with a single point of accountability.

  1. Scope in writing

What is included is ticked in the quotation. Anything not ticked is excluded.

  2. Design inputs first

Site, loading and equipment information is agreed before design or manufacture starts.

  3. Site readiness

Access, ground and hazards are confirmed before the team mobilises.

  4. Recorded handover

A joint inspection, a completion report and a snag list at practical completion.

  5. Through-life care

Scheduled and emergency maintenance, audits, refurbishment and decommissioning.
